Microtubules
Microtubules are found in flagella and cilia

Flagella and cilia consist of nine fused microtubule pairs surrounding a core of unpaired tubules.
At the base of every flagella and cilia there are nine fused microtubule triplets.

There are two types of molecular motors: dynein and kinesin
These motor proteins use ATP to change their conformation.
This
change in shape pushes the transport vesicles along the microtubule tracks.
Kinesin- Always towards positive side
Dynein- Always toward negative side
Centrioles lie just outside the cell nucleus
and are made up of a fused triplets.
Microtubules extend from the centrioles.
They attach to chromosomes and
pull
them apart.
