The Question: As Shellenberger and Nordhaus suggest, are environmental groups outmoded and ineffective in their approach to current environmental issues?

Assignment:

• We will be discussing the question above using the the positions presented in this essay and the responses to it.
• To prepare, read the selection from "The Death of Environmentalism" essay and a few of the responses to it (the responses are many, you may select a few to read from the list).
