1. Navigate to the following directory on the Kenyon network: P:\data\biology\biol241
2. Create a new directory on your computer for the program, e.g., C:\Program Files\populus
3. Copy PopInstall.5.4.exe from P:\data\biology\biol241 to the new directory on your computer
4. Close the browser for the P:\ directory
5. Double-click on “PopInstall.5.4.exe” to install the Populus program
Click “next” to accept installer options
This software is free and it is legal to install it on your computer
After completing these steps you should have a Populus shortcut icon on your desktop. Clicking on this will open the simulation
program.
