BIOL 333: Environmental Toxicology

Response Paper Guidelines

For many class meetings, a short assignment ("response paper;" no more than 1 page, single spaced, 12 pont font) will be due. The purpose of these response papers is to stimulate thinking and discussion about toxicology. You may work together in groups to discuss these assignments; please write your assignment yourself and acknowledge your collaborators. Response papers will be graded mainly for effort on a check, check-plus, check-minus scale. There will be 10 response papers during the semester. The first is in two parts (1a and 1b). Of the remaining nine, you may skip one without penalty. If you write a response paper and wish to have especially detailed comments regarding it (i.e. you think it is really good, or you are not sure at all whether you are right and you want detailed feedback) please indicate so at the top of the assignment. Response papers are due at the beginning of class on the day of the assignment. They will never be accepted after 12 noon on the day they are due. See Syllabus for indicated due dates and topics.
