WA 3: Consider the following totally fictional groups of animals. Consider how they would be classified by a numerical taxonomist, a traditional systematist, and a cladistic taxonomist. Use diagrams where appropriate. Explain the reasoning behind each classification (there may be more than one correct answer)..
Animal 1: Has feathers, has vertebral column, has no opposable thumb.
Animal 2: Has no feathers, has no vertebral column, has opposable thumb.
Animal 3: Has no feathers, has vertebral column, has opposable thumb.
