Academic Director, Brown Family Environmental Center at Kenyon College

The Experimental Pine Plantation, established Earth Day, 1990, was the first large project for the BFEC. Beginning with that project I have been involved with strategic planning, setting up long-term experiments, and coordinating curricular activities at the BFEC. If you are interested in using the facilities of the BFEC for a research project or Kenyon class project, please contact me. If you would like to learn more about our community outreach program, or if you would like to volunteer at the BFEC, please contact the Facility Director, Inese Sharp at 740-427-5055 or sharpi@kenyon.edu. To learn more about the Center for Environmental Study resources and history, please visit the BFEC web site by clicking on "BFEC" or on the image, above.
