The strap of muscle running along the neck and onto the shoulder appears as one continuous muscle, however, it
is actually two muscles. Originating on the nuchal crest of the skull the clavotrapezius inserts on the
clavicle while the clavobrachialis originates on the clavicle and appears as a continuation of the clavotrapezius.
