Right Jugal (Malar) Bone

(Lateral View)

The jugal bone forms the lateral margin of the orbit. The zygomatic process extends to the posterior and articulates with the temporal bone. The orbital process extends dorsally to partially surround the orbit. At its anterior margin the jugal articulates with the maxillary bone.

Right Zygomatic Arch

The maxillary, malar, and temporal bones contribute to the zygomatic arch.

Note the orientation of the jugal bone. It is the only bone that lies entirely in the zygomatic arch.
