Harry Itagaki - Teaching interests

These are wonderfully exciting times to be a biologist. The interesting advances that seem to occur routinely in a wide variety of biological fields across all levels of organization are fertile sources for new topics to be covered in my courses. Being a neurobiologist with interests in cell biology, anatomy, and behavior, I have taught a wide range of courses in my years at Kenyon. In the recent past, I have taught Biol 109 -110 (Introduction to Experimental Biology); Biol 113 (From Cell to Organism); Biol 358 (Neurobiology); Biol 359 (Experimental Neurobiology); Biol 366 (Cell Biology); Biol 367 (Experimental Cell Biology); Biol 470 (Senior Seminar: Size and Scaling in Biological Systems) with Dr. Siobhan Fennessy; and Biol 497 (Senior Honors Seminar). This year, I am teaching Biol 266 (Cell Biology) and Biol 267 (Cell Biology Lab) in the fall and Biol 358 (Neurobiology); Biol 359 (Experimental Neurobiology); and Biol 110 (Introduction to Experimental Biology) in the spring.
