Visible light is made up of electromagnetic radiation that is measured in nanometers (nm). ONP absorbs light maximally at 420 nm and transmits light in the yellow range of the spectrum. Using a spectrophotometer it is possible to measure the absorbance of a solution of ONP at 420 nm.
