The Columbus Zoo has a number of animals in exhibits that would be appropriate for your ethograms. I can't list them all here, but a few that come to mind are:
- Gorillas - many individuals in a large, outdoor arena with many things to do
- Coral Reef fish - large (100' long, 20' high) aquarium with 100's of fish of many species in a living coral reef
- Birds - many kinds, most in large enclosures. A very large aviary in the North American exhibit has many spp. in one place

The downside is that it is a long drive from here. If you want to use the Zoo as your study site, let me know and I'll spread the word to the class for ride-sharing, etc.
