Khuy Thaough

This is an artistic rendering of a Khuy Thaough. Khuy Thaough is the name for juvenile group of Thaough.

Khuy Thaough (pictured above) are a favorite food source for the Yumbrabaul.  They are rich in protein and their intestines contain chemicals which cause both an increase in production of the brain chemical Dopamine as well as loss of motor coordination akin to how alcohol affects Homo sapiens in the Yumbrabaul.  Despite the fierce protection of their young from the Yumbrabaul the population of Khuy Thaough continue to suffer heavy losses from flying Yumbrabaul who clearly enjoy the affects that the Khuy Thaough have on them.

This is a picture of an adult Thaough.  From its position in the grass it is impossible to tell its sex.  It has two bloody scratches on it face, blood on its teeth, and gore on its horns.  These wound were  sustained from a fight with a Yumbrabaul.  The preferred prey of the Thaough is theYumbrabaul, who are very rich in protein and low in fat.  The Yumbrabaul is also the most deadly predator of the young Thaough, also known as the Khuy Thaough.   Top
