is a photo of the skull of a female Indian from Mobridge, South Dakota.
The injury seen to the occipital bone of the skull was most likely caused
by a sharp implement, but what is clear from this photo is the rounded
edges of the wound, which indicate healing. The second photo is a
close up of the same wound.
