A
parry fracture, also referred to as a Monteggia's fracture, is a "fracture
of the shaft of the ulna with dislocation of the head of the radius" (Merbs
162). This is an x-ray of the forearm showing the radius on the left
side (thumb side) and the broken bone on the right of the x-ray is the
ulna (pinky side).
