Traumatized by the effectiveness of the biomorph attack humans turned to genetic engineering to ensure that they would never again be helpless in the face of a biological attack. Humans made huge leaps in genetic technology in their search for perfection. Their advancements in genetic technology in conjunction with the small small population saw a dramatic shift in the human image so that they no longer resembled their former selves. Although regulations were strict to prevent overcrowding the spaceship the new technology was offered to everyone. Thus humans passed into a golden age of technology.
In the year 312 P.A., in an effort to find the perfect haven for the human race, the Tera project was initiated. Probes were sent to the far flung depths of space and at long last a planet was found. In The year 432 P.A. Humans settled on the planet Htrae and many colonies were established. In a tribute to their success in finding a new planet and in memory of those you had died, this book, The History of Earth was written.
Although most decided to stay, some intrepid voyagers continued their trip among the stars...
