Medd
Medd is
the resource that the Herbivores consume. It is their only source of
food and thus very crucial to the Herbivore’s population. Medd’s pH is
very low and also very acidic, similar to battery acid. Rather than the
typical acid we think of, its consistency is solid though. Medd’s
appearance varies significantly from area to area. When the Medd is
closer to the Acids, it has a more distinct color to it. The color
fades from these vibrant colors as it gets farther and farther away
from the Acids. The Acids’ colors vary from their locations on the
planet, which in effect varies the Medd colors of the land surrounding
it. The Medd’s color is not the only quality that changes as it moves
farther from Acid. The density of Medd decreases, as it gets closer to
bodies of Acid. The less dense and more translucent the Medd, the more
appealing an appetizing it is for the creatures.
Termit
Zorkadum’s
walking surface. Termit’s surface grows the crucial Medd resource. The
extraordinary reaction between the Termit’s rough surface and the
reacted air is incredible. When the Termit is hit by the element
combusted air, it immediately grows flourishing Medd. The Medd grows
extremely fast. The larger Sections of Medd are extremely dense and as
they sprout more and more smaller sections they increasingly become
more sparse and translucent. The more the translucent the Medd, the
more appetizing it is. Herbivores will only consume the large dense
pieces if in dire need.
