This
is an artist's representation of the planet Zeerocks before "The Great
Migration." Notice the abundance of lush conifer trees.
The microbial citizens of Zeerocks used the spikes protruding from the top of their form to insert themselves into the bark of the tree, enabling them to obtain nourishment from the woodpulp of the trees. |
However,
other larger organisms on Zeerocks saw the lush foliage only as raw material
for industry. They destroyed the entire face of the planet, completely
disregarding the potential that other, smaller organisms needed the trees
for shelter and nourishment.
