Chapter 1: The Attack

The attack of the biomorphs  was brutal and efficient.  Due to careful planning the biomorphs were able to utilize earths natural cycles to their advantage causing the attack to be too swift for preventative action to be taken. Five pods, each containing approximately 2,400g of the deadly botulism spore, were launched into the five major ocean currents of planet earth: The North Pacific, South Pacific, North Atlantic, South Atlantic, and Indian Ocean gyres.  This in conjunction with earths global wind systems allowed for the distribution of  12,000g of botulism and the almost simultaneous destruction of human life on planet earth.

----

* It takes roughly 1 µg of inhaled botulism to kill a human. This means that 6,000,000,000 µg (micrograms) or 6,000 grams (6,000,000,0000 µg / 1000,000 = 6,000g ) of botulism would suffice to destroy the human population on earth in 2050. This number was doubled to provide for the loss of spores during transport from the ocean current into the air so the quantity was increased two fold. Meaning that 12,000g of botulism was distributed on Earth.

(Markers indicate the spots in which clostridium botulinum was released into the ocean currents)

The currents carry the plague ridden waters to shore where the spores are carried skyward through evaporation and with the help of the winds carried across the continents saturating the air with the deadly spores.
